Why I love machine embroidery

Machine embroidery allows me to make personal gifts faster and in many more ways than my hand embroidery allowed. There are so many different types to choose from like, applique, red work, color work, light fill, filled, free standing lace, in the hoop and project suggestions. I can't choose just one as a favorite. Applique has been my least favorite, but is moving up as I use it more.
