Why I Love Machine Embroidery (and the Embroidery Style I Like the Most!)

I have owned my embroidery machine (a Pfaff Creative 4.5) for almost two years. I was tired of doing appliqué the "slow way" - creating templates, fusing web on fabric, hand cutting patterns, ironing on the appliqué pieces, and finally buttonhole stitching (on my Bernina) around each appliquéd piece. It was just so, so time consuming! Soon after purchasing my Pfaff machine, my local quilt shop held an Anita Goodesign University two-day workshop. I was hooked! My FAVORITE embroidery style is - you guessed it - machine appliqué! I have several favorite online companies from which I purchase my designs, Sew Sweetly being one of them! Thanks for creating this forum, Sew Sweetly, and thank you for your wonderful digitized designs. I look forward to new ones in the coming year!
